In addition to Adam’s post, it seems that my Nokia E60 is affected, too. It reports to have the following MAC address:
00015de3e668
and Adam’s script converts this to
0015de3e6608
but the real address turns out to be (thanks to Thomas and kismac)
0015de3e0668
So it seems the firmware tends to drop some zeros at the end and then pads the rest of the address with zeros to the left. Just FYI and maybe this post helps someone else in his/her confusion.
